Built by Women Poster

Taking 3D letters that were made using a layering method, I incorporated them into a poster for the Built by Women 2019 Manhattan Map. The map outlines buildings and spaces in Manhattan that were designed, engineered or developed by women. The letters sit on a collaged background of different buildings/structures. In order to capture the layers of the letters I photographed them placed on the poster background I had designed. By using this approach i was able to adjust the lighting and create the shadows for the letters, really helping it look 3D in the final product.
