Col Legno

Inspiered by a piece of music I creaded a scaled model for a 3D instillation. This space is meant to be very open and a place for viewers to walk around and observe the instillation in the centre. The focus will be on the centre piece, with benches and the cut out on the roof contributing to the viewers experience. The instillation piece has sharp edges and reflect the striking sounds of the violin strings. Unlike the instillation the structure of the room will be very rounded, with very few sharp edges; this is meant to reflect the beginning of the song. With the coloured lighting and smoke, the atmosphere will be eerie but also otherworldly and whimsical.
